“How Would Love Respond?”

I recently attended a family function for the child of a very good friend of mine. It was a beautiful sunny day, the odd whisper of white cloud coasted across the sky and I enjoyed the serenity that one feels when you sit back and relax with your best friends around a BBQ and a crystal clear, solar heated pool.
But that day was a little different from most others. That day, I was in for a pleasant suprise.
My friend (”Big Mike” - if you ever get to meet him you’ll know why I call him that) had also invited a very good friend of his, Kurek Ashley, to attend the family function. Now Kurek flew in from the Sunshine Coast (ie, 1 hours drive north of Brisbane, Australia for those folk not familiar with the city) just to be there (in Sydney).
I had heard about Kurek before meeting him and had even listened to his fantastic work on his “Fire Up Your Life” CDs that Big Mike lent me some time ago (if you’re into the “self help” material - like I am - you’ll definitely want to look at some of Kurek’s material - see www.KurekAshley.com) … but I was in for a great surprise when I met Kurek face to face.
Why?
Two reasons. Firstly, Kurek is amazingly inspirational. A brief conversation with him reminded me of why successful people are so successful. Kurek sees just about “everything” in a positive light (even his experience set out in the last chapter of his book, “How Would Love Respond?” - more on this later) … and if you are close enough to him, you can’t help but feel the same buzz.
Secondly, he’s a down right decent human being with a heart of gold. No matter where he is (on stage, travelling on a plane or hanging out with ‘mates’ at a family BBQ) he’s always looking for ways to help others.
Now, if you ask Kurek directly if he agrees with my comments above, he’ll agree with the first (absolutely! That defines much of who he is) and humbly disclaim the second (I think this also massively defines who he is).
A few days after “Big Mike’s” family function, I received in the post a personally autographed copy of Kurek’s book, “How Would Love Respond?” His book carries the subtitle, “Imagine if you were given a gift so powerful that you knew you had to share it with the world”. Well the messages that Kurek shares in his book are truly amazing gifts!
He covers in his book his amazing life story, strategies for creating holistic life success, how to create your “GDGs - Grand Dream Goals”, the “Formula for Creation” and so much more in 15 inspiring chapters over 329 pages. He even covers, in the last chapter titled “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Publisher”, an incredibly powerful story of how he handled an amazing episode in his own life.
For me, Kurek Ashley is a genuine master of personal development and an all round fantastic human being. It was an absolute pleasure to meet him, I very much enjoyed his book and I recommend it to you whole heartedly*.
